Chainlink has launched its 24/7 oracle service, which delivers continuous market data for stocks, commodities, and other real-world assets across trading sessions, weekends, and holidays, the company announced on November 2. The upgrade extends Chainlink's existing 24/5 Streams product, which previously left data gaps over weekends and market holidays when traditional exchanges were closed. The move matters because it enables DeFi protocols and tokenized-asset platforms to price real-world assets around the clock, supporting always-on trading and collateral management without relying on stale weekend prices. Chainlink is the dominant oracle network across DeFi, so expanded RWA data coverage could accelerate adoption of tokenized equities and commodities on chains integrating its feeds.
